News reaching us is that former deputy governor to Joshua Dariye and one time governor of plateau state is dead.
Botmang who has been battling kidney related disease ever since he left office was confirmed dead by his son Mr. Dadung Botmang.
Dadung told News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) that his father died at the early hours of saturday in his country home at Zawan Jos south local goverment area of plateau state.
The remains of the former politician has been deposited at the Air force hospital mortuary in Jos and preparation are been made by the deceased's family to ensure he is given a befitting burial.
Mr. Botmang was governor of plateau state for the period of six months after the political crisis that led to the resignation of his then superior Governor Joshua Dariye.
Governor Botmang was 76 years old before his demise.
This indeed is a lose to plateau state and Nigeria as a whole.
